Okuma Booster Baitfeeder Reel continues Okuma’s tradition of tournament-grade baitfeeders designed with bank anglers in mind. A Fast Progressive Drag allows for quick, precise adjustments, while the Flite Drive System ensures smooth retrieves under load. Built around a lightweight body with a precision machine-cut brass pinion gear, the Booster features an 8-bearing system for refined performance. A double handle with EVA grips offers comfort and control, while the aluminium spool, metal line clip, and included spare spool add durability and versatility.
The Booster is available in 4000, 5000, and 6000 sizes, offering reliability and value in a robust design.

Baitfeeder SYSTEM
Okuma’s baitfeeding system allows anglers to disengage their spinning reel spool & allow their bait to run freely. The baitfeeding system incorporates a secondary micro-adjustable drag system at the rear of the reel that allows for precise adjustment of the spool for bait control, however to disengage this system simply turn the handle. The On/Off lever on the rear of the reel will automatically disengage the baitfeeding system so you can fight your fish with the main drag system.
Cyclonic Flow Rotor
The Cyclonic Flow Rotor (CFR) was designed to create a “cyclonic” airflow, which significantly increases air flow through the ported rotor. This thoroughly tested design allows for a much faster drying time if the reel becomes wet, minimizing corrosion possibilities throughout the reel.
Flite Drive
To increase the lightness of rotation and reduce drag, Okuma incorporated a hollowed-out centre design in the pinion gear. By reducing friction between the gear and the shaft, anglers can experience a seamless, zero-inertia start-up and a remarkably light and effortless handle turn.
